There is one other quality I’ve noticed in elementary school boys that makes them an alpha male — being kidn of a class clown. The little girls love that about their classmates. Cute.

First, I’m so glad that you are feeling better. Whew!
Second, I was never attracted to the Alpha male. I like the guy with an air of mystery about him.But when you are raising kids, you want them to have self-confidence, even if they don’t recognize they are holding all the cards! This was a really Good Dad story.

I always find it interesting to see what happens to the former high school and college alphas later in life. Some are still alphas and some are totally the opposite. My boys are somewhere in the middle, but they’re comfortable about who they are, which for almost teen boys is pretty good. I miss the days when my boys wanted to marry mom–now they want to marry Salena Gomez.

I think the leading quality of an Alpha is confidence. My son was that boy in grade school. He was also tall and cute as a bug. In high school he is also one of the alphas but he is not on athletics and goes out of his way to go against the grain, he might just be a bad boy.

I’d have laughed too. My daughter often leaves the dinner table in tears because we are all joking about something and then it goes too far in her mind. Usually about boys for her.

That is so freaking cute! I can just see him so upset that you guys are making fun of him about the girls. It’s so tough when you’re a little one and older people laugh. I love how he said he wouldn’t marry your wife now. He’s going to look back on that time when he’s the alpha male in high school and laugh so hard.

Glad you’re ok! From my experience, stress was the #1 cause of my issues. You could use this excuse on your wife to get out of chores I’ll bet.
